Clash of the Titans Questions.

1) Who are the Titans?
The Titans are a race of 12 powerful Gods that look over and rule the Earth.
2) Are the any interesting motifs you see frequently appearing (Eg. Lightning bolts)? How do you interpret their meaning? Can you name a modern version, of this motif, used today?
-Lightning:
This could be interpreted as power. Also because it is an natural phenomena it could also represent it's inability to be controlled by humans or 'mortals'.
-Stone statues, columns:
I think these represent the people and the strength of Rome. Several times you see them smashed and destroyed which I think says something about the fall of the mortals against the Gods.
-Wings:
I think the wings represent grace and beauty.
3) Is your Greek character in the movie? If so, does the film's interpretation match your research?
Phoenix is not mentioned in the movie.
4) Are any of the characters, in the movie, related (Eg. a mother or father, wife or husband, brother or sister) to your Greek myth? If so, how?
Phoenix is not related to any other God.
5) Is their a constellation of stars named after your Greek character?
Yes. There is a constellation called Phoenix located in the southern sky. Phoenix was one of twelve constellations created by Petrus Plancius from the observations of Pieter Dirkszoon Keyserand Frederick de Houtman
6) How is Medusa killed? Does your Greek character have a weakness?
Medusa is killed by having her head cut by Perseus.
Phoenix doesn't have any noted weaknesses and it represents immortality.
